MV JOHN WILSON JOINS THE INVERLUSSA FLEET

In summer 2023 Inverlussa completed the purchase of a 15m NabCat from Norway. The vessel, which was re-named MV John Wilson, takes the number of NabCats in Inverlussa’s fleet to 3. John Wilson is kitted out with the latest SHM mooring handling equipment, including hydraulic plate holder, towing pins and deck winch, making working with mooring grids easier and safer for our crews.

The short length, big power and sensitive maneuverability of these vessels means they have become a firm favorite with both Inverlussa and our customers. The high standard of accommodation on board these vessels also provide excellent living conditions for our crews.

MV John Wilson will carry out site support work including grid mooring repair, towing and treatment support with Organic Sea Harvest, celebrating a new partnership between Inverlussa and the independently owned organic salmon farm based on the coast of Skye.
